Ted Coupland

Ted provides invaluable technical input into the due diligence process for equity and debt investments made by the Tribeca Global Natural Resources team. As a professional Geologist and Geostatistician, Ted has been involved with many technically challenging resource projects around the globe, working in a diverse array of mineralisation styles and covering a range of commodities including gold, silver, copper, base metals, PGM’s, bauxite and coal as an independent consultant and a founding principal of Cube Consulting, a geological and mining engineering services business. Ted has also acted as a Competent Person or Qualified Person under numerous international resource reporting codes including JORC, CIM, SAMREC and SME. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of New England, Post-Graduate Degree in Geostatistics form the Paris School of Mines, Post-Graduate Diploma in Mineral Economics from Macquarie University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. Ted is a Chartered Professional (Geology) and Corporate Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Andrew Cowley

Andrew is responsible for the ongoing enhancement of Tribeca’s in-house quantitative investment capabilities and risk management systems. Prior to joining Tribeca Andrew spent over 15 years in systems development and implementation at Barclays Global Investors and Blackrock, working alongside quantitative researchers to implement quantitative equities stock selection models. He also designed and implemented an investment platform achieving both functionality and scale to support the largest Australian quantitative equities business at the time with AUM of over $15b. Andrew started his career as an Analyst Programmer with IBM where he developed a system delivering operational efficiencies to clients and was awarded the Computerworld Object Development Award (CODA). Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University.
