Haydn is an Advisor to the Tribeca Global Natural Resources team and brings over two decades of natural resources related investment experience and key relationships with corporates in the sector across Asia Pacific and North America. Haydn spent over 20 years of his career at Macquarie, where he was Executive Director and Global Head of the bank’s Mining Finance Group and Executive Committee Member of the Commodities and Financial Markets Group. In this role, Haydn led a team of 40 people across Macquarie’s Australian, Canadian and United Kingdom offices overseeing the bank’s investments in mining and debt equity. Earlier in his career at Macquarie, he worked as a Structured Debt and Derivatives Originator across a full spectrum of debt and derivatives products, customizing structures such as equity, mezzanine debt, metal streams and royalties, convertible notes, gold loans and prepaid transactions in addition to project finance. He began his career at Macquarie as a Precious Metals and Futures Options Trader with responsibility for the bank’s spot gold and silver books as well as market making and proprietary trading. Haydn holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
